The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the East Islip Redmen (Islip Terrace, NY) and the host Syosset (Syosset, NY), saw East Islip's lacrosse team gain a win over Syosset by a margin of 13-10.

The Redmen (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Smithtown West (Smithtown, NY). The enter the Section 11 I challenge with a 1-0 record.

The (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Massapequa (Massapequa, NY). The Chiefs enter the Section 8 A challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Massapequa by Commack (Commack, NY), 8-7, in a non-league challenge.
