California High School Softball - Sierra Vista holds off Azusa

Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Sierra Vista Dons (Baldwin Park, CA) and the visiting Azusa Aztecs (Azusa, CA), witnessed Sierra Vista's softball squad tip Azusa by a count of 4-2.

The Dons now sport a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Nogales for a Montview match on Friday, March 22. Sierra Vista will face a Nobles squad coming off a 13-2 league loss to Duarte (Duarte, CA). The Nobles record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Azusa moves to 8-6 on the season. The Aztecs host Workman (City of Industry, CA) to face the Lobos in a Montview match on Friday, March 22. The Lobos go into the match with a record of 0-5. Workman lost 13-3 in their recent non-league match against Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA)
