The crowd at Wednesday's league match between the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) and the visiting Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC), saw Butler's softball squad achieve victory over Rocky River by a count of 15-0.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Garinger for a Southwestern 4A match on Thursday, March 21. Butler will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 20-5 league loss to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Rocky River falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Ravens travel to Independence (Charlotte, NC) to face the Patriots in a Southwestern 4A match on Friday, March 22. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 5-2. Independence won 11-1 in their recent league match against Providence (Charlotte, NC)
