Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX) and the visiting Randall Raiders (Amarillo, TX), witnessed Canyon's softball squad tip Randall by a count of 4-2.

The Eagles now sport a 9-6 record. They play next when they host West Plains for a 4A Region I District 4 match on Thursday, March 21. Canyon will face a Wolves squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to Randall (Amarillo, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Randall moves to 11-14 on the season. The Raiders travel to Hereford (Hereford, TX) to face the Whitefaces in a 4A Region I District 4 match on Friday, March 22. The Whitefaces go into the match with a record of 5-11. Hereford lost 14-0 in their recent league match against Dumas (Dumas, TX)
