The Bobcats now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Goreville for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. Meridian will battle a Blackcats squad coming off a 10-9 non-league win over DuQuoin (DuQuoin, IL). The Blackcats record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Cobden falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Appleknockers host Pope County (Golconda, IL) to battle the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 2-7. Pope County lost 14-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL)
