Alabama High School Softball - Woodlawn falls to Fairfield

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Fairfield Tigers softball team scored a nice 12-1 win over the Woodlawn Colonels.
Coming up next, the Tigers battle the Pleasant Grove Spartans (Pleasant Grove, AL) in a 5A Area 11 outing, on Monday, April 1. Fairfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans enter the outing with a 7-9 record after their 7-0 league loss to Jasper (Jasper, AL).
The Colonels (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Homewood (Homewood, AL). The Patriots enter the 6A Area 9 outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Homewood was routed by Calera (Calera, AL), 13-3, in a non-league outing.
