North Carolina High School Softball - Freedom felled by South Caldwell

In Wednesday's league outing, the host South Caldwell Spartans softball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Freedom Patriots.

Coming up next, the Spartans encounter the Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 21. South Caldwell will attempt to upgrade on its 8-0 season record. The Big Macs enter the outing with a 0-1 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC).

The Patriots (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC). The Huskies enter the Northwestern 3A/4A outing with a 3-3 record.
