Texas High School Softball - The Colony bounces Frisco

The The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) softball routed the visiting Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX), 13-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Cougars (5-6) will now prepare for their bout against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers go into the 5A Region II District 9 bout with a 16-5 record. In their last bout, Lone Star notched a victory over Newman Smith (Carrollton, TX), 15-0, in a league bout.

The Raccoons now possess a 3-13 record. They play next when they travel to Wakeland for a 5A Region II District 9 bout on Saturday, March 23. Frisco will confront a Wolverines squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Wolverines record now stands at 11-6.
