The Spanish Springs Cougars softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Galena Grizzlies to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Spanish Springs moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Cougars host Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV) to clash with the Miners in a 5A North game on Saturday, March 23. The Miners come into the game with a record of 6-5. Bishop Manogue won 4-3 in their recent league game against Reed (Sparks, NV)

In their next game, the Grizzlies clash with the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) in a 5A North game, on Thursday, March 21. Galena will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Huskies come into the game with a 1-3 record after their 18-3 non-league loss to Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV).
