The Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns routed the visiting New Orleans Charter Science & Math Chambered Nautilus softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Cajuns (15-1) will now prepare for their battle against L.W. Higgins (Marrero, LA). The Hurricanes go into the non-league battle with a 2-12 record. In their last battle, L.W. Higgins topped Bonnabel (Kenner, LA), 17-2, in a non-league battle.
The Chambered Nautilus now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Haynes Academy for a 3A District 9 battle on Friday, March 22. New Orleans Charter Science & Math will meet a squad coming off a 11-8 league loss to Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Avondale, LA). The record now stands at 10-5.
