Mt. Diablo Red Devils (Concord, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host San Lorenzo Grizzlies (San Lorenzo, CA), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Red Devils now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Albany for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 22. Mt. Diablo will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 13-2 league win over El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, San Lorenzo falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to San Leandro (San Leandro, CA) to battle the Pirates in a West Alameda County-Shoreline challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. San Leandro won 9-7 in their recent non-league challenge against Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA)
