The Eastern Ramblers baseball team scored 19 runs and held the host Ballou Knights to 0 in the Ramblers league win on Thursday.
The Ramblers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Dunbar for a DCIAA test on Monday, March 24. Eastern will play a Crimson Tide team coming off a 22-0 league loss to School Without Walls (Washington, DC). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Ballou drops to 0-1 on the year. The Knights host Coolidge (Washington, DC) to play the Colts in a DCIAA test on Monday, April 7. The Colts go into the test with a record of 0-6.
