The Barnwell Warhorses baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Colleton County Cougars to 1 in the Warhorses non-league win on Thursday.

The Warhorses now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bridges Prep for a 2A Region 5 test on Friday, March 21. Barnwell will clash with a Buccaneers team coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Thomas Heyward Academy (Ridgeland, SC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, Colleton County drops to 3-4 on the year. The Cougars host Bluffton (Bluffton, SC) to clash with the Bobcats in a 4A Region 7 test on Monday, March 24. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 4-4. Bluffton won 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Woodland (Dorchester, SC)
