In Thursday's league game, the host Franklin Hornets baseball team scored a nice 20-5 victory over the West St. Mary Wolfpack.
The Hornets (11-3) will now prepare for their game against Morgan City (Morgan City, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 5-18 record. In their last game, Morgan City was overwhelmed by Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA), 15-0, in a league game.
