Texas High School Baseball - John Paul II holds off New Braunfels Christian Academy

In Thursday's league game, the host John Paul II Guardians baseball team scored a close 9-5 win over the New Braunfels Christian Academy Wildcats.
The Guardians (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Incarnate Word Academy (Corpus Christi, TX). The Angels go into the TAPPS Division III District 5 game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Incarnate Word Academy was overwhelmed by Holy Cross (San Antonio, TX), 19-2, in a league game.
Next, the Wildcats play the New Braunfels Thunder Homeschool (New Braunfels, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 21. New Braunfels Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Homeschool go into the game with a 7-4 record after their 4-2 non-league loss to Round Rock Christian Academy (Round Rock, TX).
