New Mexico High School Baseball - La Cueva holds off Los Lunas

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM), saw La Cueva's baseball team gain a win over Los Lunas by a tally of 8-4.
The Bears (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors enter the non-league battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Sandia held off Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 12-2, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers face the Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 22. Los Lunas will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 7-5 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Sandia (Albuquerque, NM).
