Arkansas High School Baseball - Magnet Cove loses to Woodlawn

In Thursday's league bout, the Woodlawn Bears (Rison, AR) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Magnet Cove Panthers (Malvern, AR), by a tally of 15-0.

Next up, the Bears encounter the Junction City Dragons (Junction City, AR) in a 2A Region 8 bout, on Friday, March 21. Woodlawn will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Dragons enter the bout with a 3-5 record after their 9-3 non-league loss to Smackover (Smackover, AR).

The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Gurdon (Gurdon, AR). The Go-Devils enter the 2A Region 8 bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Gurdon was overwhelmed by Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR), 12-2, in a league bout.
