The North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) baseball trounced the host Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes (Woodstock, IL), 14-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Princeville for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. North Boone will clash with a Princes team coming off a 18-3 non-league loss to Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Princes record now stands at 0-2.
With the defeat, Marian Central Catholic drops to 0-2 on the year. The Hurricanes host Dakota (Dakota, IL) to clash with the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21.
