The Maryville Red Rebels baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Sevier County Smoky Bears to 1 in the Red Rebels non-league win on Thursday.
The Red Rebels now hold a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bearden for a 4A District 4 test on Monday, March 24.
With the defeat, Sevier County drops to 5-8 on the year. The Smoky bears travel to William Blount (Maryville, TN) to play the Governors in a non-league test on Friday, March 21. The Governors go into the test with a record of 4-5. William Blount won 18-4 in their recent league test against Maryville (Maryville, TN)
