In Thursday's league game, the host Moody Blue Devils baseball team scored a close 4-3 victory over the St. Clair County Fighting Saints.
The Blue Devils (12-8) will now prepare for their game against DeMatha (Hyattsville, MD). The Stags enter the non-league game with a 5-2 record. In their last game, DeMatha was tipped by Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA), 5-4, in a league game.
Next, the Fighting Saints face the Lincoln Golden Bears (Lincoln, AL) in a 5A Area 11 game, on Tuesday, April 1. St. Clair County will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record.
