In Thursday's league bout, the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV), by a tally of 9-3.
Next up, the Red Dragons encounter the Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV) in a Mountain State bout, on Saturday, March 22. St. Albans will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Highlanders enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to Greenup County (Greenup, KY).
The Flying Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Spring Valley (Huntington, WV). The Timberwolves enter the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Spring Valley was overwhelmed by Hurricane (Hurricane, WV), 4-2, in a league bout.
