In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Elizabeth Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Maywood Academy Nighthawks.

The Bulldogs (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Marquez (Huntington Park, CA). The Gladiators come into the Southern challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Marquez beat Sotomayor (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Nighthawks meet the Torres Toros (Los Angeles, CA) in a Southern challenge, on Monday, March 24. Maywood Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Toros come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Maywood CES (Maywood, CA).
