In Thursday's league challenge, the host St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Serra Cavaliers.

The Warriors (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Morningside (Inglewood, CA). The Monarchs come into the non-league challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Morningside beat San Gorgonio (San Bernardino, CA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers meet the Verbum Dei Jesuit Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) in a Santa Fe challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. Serra will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA).
