The Clovis West Golden Eagles baseball team scored 17 runs and held the host Clovis East Timberwolves to 1 in the Golden Eagles league win on Thursday.

The Golden Eagles now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Buchanan for a test on Monday, March 24. Clovis West will play a Bears team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Frontier (Bakersfield, CA). The Bears record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Clovis East drops to 2-4 on the year. The Timberwolves travel to Clovis West (Fresno, CA) to play the Golden Eagles in a test on Wednesday, April 9. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a record of 9-0.
