Lecanto Panthers (Lecanto, FL) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their flag football team gain a win over the host Citrus Hurricanes (Inverness, FL), 12-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Lecanto advances its record to 4-7 on the season. The Panthers travel to Crystal River (Crystal River, FL) to encounter the Pirates in a 2A D6 battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 1-6.

The Hurricanes now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hernando for a 2A D8 battle on Monday, March 31.
