In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Widefield Gladiators soccer squad scored a tight 6-4 triumph over the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies.
With the triumph, Widefield moves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO) to meet the Colts in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 1. The Colts come into the match with a record of 0-0.
The Grizzlies now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Liberty for a non-league match on Thursday, April 3. Mesa Ridge will meet a Lancers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Lancers record now stands at 2-2.
