Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Belton-Honea Path Bears (Honea Path, SC), 4-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Palmetto moves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC) to meet the Sabres in a AAA Region 2 test on Monday, March 24. The Sabres come into the test with a record of 1-4. Southside Christian lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against First Baptist School (Charleston, SC)

The Bears now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crescent for a AAA Region 1 test on Tuesday, March 25. Belton-Honea Path will meet a Tigers team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Towns County (Hiawassee, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.
