North Carolina High School Soccer - Cherokee nudged by Highlands

The Highlands Highlanders held off the visiting Cherokee Braves soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Thursday's league game.

Next, the Highlanders face the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 25. Highlands will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the game with a 8-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Pisgah (Canton, NC).

The Braves (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC). The Bobcats come into the Smoky Mountain 1A game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Blue Ridge Early College was nipped by Murphy (Murphy, NC), 9-0, in a league game.
