The Eastern Guilford Wildcats soccer squad scored 9 points and held the host High Point Central Bison to 0 in the Wildcats league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Rockingham County for a Mid-State 3A bout on Tuesday, March 25. Eastern Guilford will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, High Point Central moves to 0-6 on the year. The Bison travel to Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC) to encounter the Rams in a Mid-State 3A bout on Tuesday, March 25. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Northeast Guilford won 4-3 in their recent league bout against Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
