North Carolina High School Soccer - Independence knocks off Rocky River

In Thursday's league outing, the host Independence Patriots soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Rocky River Ravens.

The Patriots (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Butler (Matthews, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Southwestern 4A battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Butler Sun Valley (Monroe, NC), 3-3, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Ravens confront the Garinger Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a Southwestern 4A battle, on Tuesday, March 25. Rocky River will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
