In Thursday's league outing, the host Newton-Conover Red Devils soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Lincolnton Wolves.
The Red Devils (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, West Iredell was overwhelmed by North Wilkes (Hays, NC), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Wolves confront the Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A outing, on Tuesday, March 25. Lincolnton will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Trojans go into the outing with a 5-1 record after their 4-0 league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC).
