Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Washington Pam Pack (Washington, NC) and the visiting Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC), saw Washington's soccer squad prevail over Northeastern by a count of 5-1.

The Pam Pack (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against West Craven (Vanceboro, NC). The Eagles enter the Eastern Plains 2A battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, West Craven tipped Southside (Chocowinity, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A battle, on Monday, March 24. Northeastern will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Bruins enter the battle with a 5-2 record after their 5-0 league loss to Currituck County (Barco, NC).
