The Patton Panthers baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Mitchell Mountaineers to 2 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.
The Panthers now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brevard for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. Patton will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-3.
With the defeat, Mitchell drops to 3-3 on the year. The Mountaineers travel to Draughn (Valdese, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 1-3.
