Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Woodstock Wolverines (Woodstock, GA), 1-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Pope moves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Sequoyah (Canton, GA) to clash with the Chiefs in a 5A Area 6 test on Tuesday, March 25. The Chiefs come into the test with a record of 3-8. Sequoyah won 2-1 in their recent league test against Creekview (Canton, GA)

The Wolverines now sport a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sprayberry for a 5A Area 6 test on Tuesday, March 25. Woodstock will clash with a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 8-2.
