Illinois High School Softball - Anna-Jonesboro bounces Johnston City

The Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Johnston City Indians to 1 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton County for a non-league battle on Friday, March 21. Anna-Jonesboro will confront a Foxes team coming off a 16-5 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Foxes record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Johnston City moves to 1-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 25. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 2-1. Woodlawn won 15-0 in their recent league battle against Red Hill (Bridgeport, IL)
