The Calhoun City Wildcats softball squad (Calhoun City, MS), 10-8 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Bruce Trojans (Bruce, MS)

With the triumph, Bruce improves its record to 7-7 on the year. The Trojans travel to Ingomar (New Albany, MS) to face the Falcons in a 2A Region 2 contest on Saturday, March 22. The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 1-4. Ingomar won 25-7 in their recent non-league contest against Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS)

The Wildcats now hold a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Ingomar for a 2A Region 2 contest on Monday, March 24. Calhoun City will face a Falcons squad coming off a 11-7 league win over Bruce (Bruce, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 2-4.
