Kentucky High School Softball - Calloway County knocked off by Graves County

The Graves County Eagles overwhelmed the visiting Calloway County Lakers softball squad by a count of 17-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Carlisle County Comets (Bardwell, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 24. Graves County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Comets go into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Paducah Tilghman (Paducah, KY).

The Lakers (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Henry County (New Castle, KY). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Henry County was routed by Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY), 5-3, in a non-league challenge.
