North Carolina High School Softball - Cary knocked off by Middle Creek

March 24, 2025: Apex, NC 27539

The Middle Creek Mustangs overwhelmed the visiting Cary Imps softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Apex Cougars (Apex, NC) in a Southwest Wake 4A challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. Middle Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 16-9 non-league loss to Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC).

The Imps (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks go into the Southwest Wake 4A challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Holly Springs toppled Heritage (Wake Forest, NC), 9-5, in a non-league challenge.
