In Thursday's non-league test, the Clay-Chalkville Cougars (Pinson, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Center Point Eagles (Birmingham, AL), by a tally of 18-3.

Next, the Cougars meet the St. Clair County Fighting Saints (Odenville, AL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 1. Clay-Chalkville will attempt to advance on its 10-3 season record.

The Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Huffman (Birmingham, AL). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 2-3 record.
