With the triumph, Pender improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to South Columbus (Tabor City, NC) to play the Stallions in a Waccamaw 1A/2A game on Friday, March 21. The Stallions enter the game with a record of 2-3. South Columbus lost 4-2 in their recent non-league game against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC)

The Golden Tornadoes now hold a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Red Springs for a Southeastern Athletic 2A game on Tuesday, March 25.
