The Mandeville Skippers triumphed over the visiting Hammond Tornadoes softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Skippers meet the Bourgeois Braves (Gray, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 21. Mandeville will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Braves enter the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 10-1 league loss to Thibodaux (Thibodaux, LA).
The Tornadoes (2-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA). The Green Wave enter the 5A District 6 challenge with a 10-9 record.
