Kentucky High School Softball - Murray drops to Marshall County

March 20, 2025: Benton, KY 42025

Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Murray Tigers (Murray, KY), 16-1 in a league game.

With the triumph, Marshall County improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Marshals host McCracken County (Paducah, KY) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, March 21. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 1-0.

The Tigers now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Owensboro for a non-league game on Saturday, March 22. Murray will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY). The Red Devils record now stands at 0-3.
