The Rosepine Eagles triumphed over the visiting Pickering Red Devils softball squad by a count of 11-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Eagles play the Fairview Panthers (Grant, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 21. Rosepine will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Buckeye (Buckeye, LA).
The Red Devils (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenmora (Glenmora, LA). The Wildcats enter the 2A District 4 challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Glenmora was routed by Oak Hill (Hineston, LA), 12-8, in a non-league challenge.
