Louisiana High School Softball - Springfield sneaks past Pine

The Springfield Bulldogs softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Pine Raiders to 14 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albany for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 25. Springfield will confront a Hornets team coming off a 15-5 non-league win over St. James (St. James, LA). The Hornets record now stands at 8-11.
With the loss, Pine moves to 4-6 on the season. The Raiders host Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA) to confront the Patriots in a non-league battle on Friday, March 21. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 7-4. Franklin Parish lost 11-5 in their recent league battle against Grant (Dry Prong, LA)
