In Friday's league game, the visiting Anthony Wildcats baseball team scored a close 9-6 victory over the Alpine Bucks.
The Wildcats (5-10) will now prepare for their match against Tornillo (Tornillo, TX). The Coyotes come into the 3A Region I District 4 match with a 0-15 record. In their last match, Tornillo by Kermit (Kermit, TX), 14-4, in a league match.
The Bucks now possess a 1-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Presidio for a 3A Region I District 4 match on Tuesday, March 24.
