Louisiana High School Baseball - Pickering loses to Anacoco

In Friday's non-league bout, the Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Pickering Red Devils (Leesville, LA), by a final score of 15-2.

With the triumph, Anacoco moves its record to 5-7 on the season. The Indians host Oberlin (Oberlin, LA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 21. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 2-11. Oberlin lost 14-1 in their recent non-league contest against St. Edmund (Eunice, LA)

Next, the Red Devils face the Vinton Lions (Vinton, LA) in a 2A District 4 battle, on Tuesday, March 24. Pickering will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 15-5 record after their 15-0 non-league win over David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA).
