The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) and the visiting Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC), saw Crest's baseball team beat Forestview by a margin of 14-1.
The Chargers (5-3) will now prepare for their match against South Point (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders come into the Big South 5A/6A match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, South Point beat Huss (Gastonia, NC), 15-0, in a league match.
The Jaguars now possess a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huss for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 24. Forestview will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 0-3.
