California High School Baseball - Monroe edges Van Nuys

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA) and the host Van Nuys Wolves (Van Nuys, CA), observed Monroe's baseball squad overcome Van Nuys by a final score of 13-11.

With the triumph, Monroe moves its record to 11-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Vaughn (San Fernando, CA) to confront the White Tigers in a East Valley contest on Wednesday, March 25. The White Tigers enter the battle with a record of 3-3. Vaughn won 11-1 in their recent league battle against Grant (Van Nuys, CA)

Next, the Wolves face the Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers (Granada Hills, CA) in a East Valley battle, on Wednesday, March 25. Van Nuys will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Vipers enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA).
