The Montgomery County Wildcats baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host St. Charles Pirates to 4 in the Wildcats non-league win on Friday.
The Wildcats now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centralia for a non-league test on Monday, March 23.
The Pirates (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against St. Louis Homeschool (St. Louis, MO). The Patriots enter the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, St. Louis Homeschool edged Central (Park Hills, MO), 13-11, in a non-league outing.
