In Friday's non-league game, the host Nitro Wildcats baseball team scored a nice 10-0 win over the Roane County Raiders.

The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV). The Red Devils go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Ravenswood notched a victory over Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV), 16-9, in a league match.

The Raiders now possess a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo for a non-league match on Saturday, March 21. Roane County will battle a Bison squad coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Wahama (Mason, WV). The Bison record now stands at 2-0.
